Paper handkerchief and a story...for some money

Placed on the seat in front of me on the tram,  by the father telling his story on the note that he has to beg for money to support his two children Miruna and Ali. I have seen this note before with the same story - offering you the paper handkerchief in return of the money you might place there. You don’t have to beg for money to support your children in Norway. Normally I do not give money to this kind of begging either. However, sitting there tonight, on my way home to Mrs.B and the good life we, our children and grand children have, reading the note, twice, I felt sorry for the father and gave him some money. I didn’t want the paper handkerchief though.
