I was assured that Maxie has never barked, and, though hard to believe of a thoroughbred Yorkie, that did at first seem to be the case. I think Buster has been coaching her, as yesterday she had a couple of yips at a single sock on the washing line (remnant of the recent gales), and today, after being dragged down to the point, she jumped onto the low boundary wall and took noisy exception to a distant orange buoy. Buster couldn't understand what all the fuss was about, as everyone knows you only bark at other dogs, bins and boats.
