Berlin Day 1
With the team of three Germans and Nigel, off to Berlin for a week of auditing the Wienerwald operations in Berlin. We all flew in from various parts of Germany.
Not sure in which hotel we stayed, but somewhere central.
My diary says I was in the Kasierdamm area today.
The Blip is of the remains of the 1891/5 built Kaiser-Wilhelm-Gedächtniskirche which was largely destroyed by British bomber on the night of 22nd November 1943.
Alongside the original ruin, the new replacement church built between 1959 and 1961.
Close by the Movenpick Restaurant where we all met up for dinner.
It was of course here that the Christmas Market terrorist attack of 2016 took place.
