Interesting facts:-
The pillars and arches supporting the roof are made of hollow cast iron.
A Mr John Lewis contributed £1,000 towards the cost of the building (ie a tenth of the total cost)
The men and women sit separately - apart from in the choir, which is mixed (apparently looked on by some visiting speakers as a bit wayward!)
