Into London today to be part of the judging panel for the Newspress journalism awards. We met in the offices of the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders, where this large mural on the wall beside the lift summarises the highlights of the British motor industry. I think much of what it produces was on my route home, in some very slow traffic!
