Best laid plans...

Woke up to another pouring day. I had great expectations, as the weather forecast had hinted at changeable weather conditions. I had a pretty free morning, at least I didn’t have any appointments, so I was hoping to go for a walk as well as go on about my chores. Best laid plans of men and mice!
I waited.... and waited.... and waited.... until I decided to go out anyway! Only with my phone, as I risked to get my camera soaked. The result is the main picture. I cannot avoid noticing how the green looks greener despite the rain and chill. You must be right! Spring must be coming at last!
