Wow there was a lot happening today. Started out the day welcoming Mick to Wombat Hollow with his chain saws, whipper snippers and bobcat. Then we headed in to the Blackheath Photo Group before racing back out to Wh to check on Mick’s progress before heading back down the mountains to Parramatta, about a one and a half hour drive. Phew!!

Happy to say that Mick did a wonderful job clearing the side of the 150m long driveway of some of the bushes that were tending to take over. He also reinstated the turning circle just above our carport that is essential if ever we need fire trucks to come and save our house in the event of a bushfire. By the time we left for Sydney this afternoon the place looked amazing. Even the driveway was given a makeover. Now I really want one of those leaf blower thingies. The driveway looked brand new.

We knew we would battle to make it to Westmead for a VERY EARLY appointment for CCN so decided to book a cheap but very cheerful hotel room to save us a sparrows you know what start in the morning. Our mapping app tells me its 11 minutes to our appointment from where we’re staying. I reckon we can get there on time now :)
