Mother's Day dinner

This picture was taken at a local restaurant  where we had our special Mother's Day dinner  after wondering whether we'd actually get there...
Earlier in the afternoon, Violet and her Mummy came to see me to bring my lovely cards and presents and we decided that we'd pop out for a coffee.  Unfortunately Violet's cough, which had started on Friday afternoon, got rather worse and without giving  too much information, I'll just say there was quite a lot of clearing up of Violet's and Mummy's clothing to be done after the coughing brought up her porridge and juice...
Once home again and all cleaned up, we had to decide if she was well enough for our planned meal.  We decided  that she was and we got through the evening without further incident.  She's yet again a rather poorly little girl though and there'll be no nursery tomorrow.
