Brighter day today ..

as I completed a walk around the Heritage Park in East Kilbride.  There were lots of different birds on the loch and I spotted this one on the island in the middle.  It may be a heron, but it's a bit far away - and I'm not very good at recognising birds.  I have heard people say there is a heron nest on the island.
