Mothering Sunday
Like most folk my age, I now longer have my mum still with me. However, I put on her favourite perfume, Chanel No 5, and was pleased to be spending the day with #2 Daughter. I've chosen to blip flowers in my mum's favourite colour.
My girls had a great surprise for me. One of them had listened to what I was saying I would like to try with my photography and arranged to buy me. something to help. Little did I know yesterday when I said I wanted to try something different, that they had already provided me with the means. More of that to follow ...
So today we were up early to help Kat and G with some jobs. Dobbies was high on the list, especially as she wanted to cash in her birthday treat card from them. Cream scones and tea for us and something different for her.
Lunchtime was spent in IKEA. I like their lunches. Then it was off to the allotment to drop of some things she'd bought at Dobbies. Last stop Asda for dairy-free Baileys. Yes! They have just launched Bailey's Almande for vegans and those intolerant to dairy products!
After a lovely week spent with The Daughter and her partner it was time to head for home
