The best present!

Gin themed cards and some lovely Mothers’ Day gifts but the best one was a surprise visit from Poet Girl who is still here tonight. She arrived early and we all sat in bed and chatted before the family brunch. Grandma was equally thrilled to see the eldest grandchild and a good time was had by all.
We stayed in town after and bumped into an old swimming friends family - caught up on the last three years’ news in about half an hour!
We sat in the pub for a while before heading home for a chilled family evening. Just lovely!
