Budding rhododendron

Given yesterday's entertainment it took some time for all of us to emerge from our beds this morning. Eventually we all gathered at the kitchen table for porridge, then we took our places in the sitting room to finish the film that we started watching on Friday night. In Bruges is absolutely brilliant.

The Foxes left at lunchtime. Mr hazelh and I have spent most of the rest of the day tidying up (physical and digital) and fielding phone calls/texts*. We also popped out to the Botanic Garden to enjoy the sunshine, where I photographed this budding rhododendron.

*Many people have contacted us today to wish me well for my operation tomorrow.
