A Brotherly Visit

John lives in Albuquerque, New Mexico where he's the CEO of a casino.  He had a business meeting in Phoenix so after he flew there he rented a car and drove down for a visit.  We don't get to see him (extra) as often as we would like so it was a treat to be able to spend a few hours together.  He's my baby brother. My mother finally admitted he was her favorite...but I am her favorite daughter. (I am the oldest and only  girl!)  We had lunch at the local Italian restaurant.  Afterward, Mom had a hankering for ice cream so that was our next stop. He and I traded phones and took our pictures with Mom.  Mine with her is the extra.  Mom loves spending time with her kids, as does every mother, but always wishes they would stay longer...even me.

EDIT:  I just noticed something with my Mom's eyes.  She seems to be expressing different emotions: one with John and one with me.  I can give a guess but what do you think?
