Theodoor Dorren artwork

This artwork was placed in honor of Alderman Theodoor Dorren the Tourist Office of the municipality of Valkenburg and the existence of 125 years Association for Tourist Office (VVV).
Theodoor Dorren was alderman, pioneer of Valkenburg tourism and co-founder of the first Dutch Tourist Office. He was also a local historian and received a certificate in 1940 for his zeal to return the name Valkenburg instead of the 'bastard name' Valkenberg.
