Art made by Norman and Brian
This is a detail of a piece of art designed by Paul Coldwell and made by Norman Veitch and Brian Jones. Paul sent Norman and Brian a range of objects made in balsa wood and they fashioned them in glass. The items included a toothbrush, comb, ruler, flower, scissors, spectacles and a bar of soap (featured). The objects are joined by glass rods to make a wall mounted piece. The shadows on the wall made by the glass are very interesting. The picture was taken in the National Glass Centre, Sunderland and is part of the Kith and Kin II exhibition. I must admit I love glass.

The piece is called Lines of thought I
