Liam and Sarah

Both here for the Mothers Day weekend. A card from Daniel, sent by post and arrived on time. I think this is a first :) . It seems a long time since I saw him, but they are all due to come over Easter for a family day and we do FaceTime often.

I made lasagne, I used to cook ‘proper’ when I was a full time/ part time housewife but now that I work full time I can’t be bothered, so this was a rare but appreciated event.

James, Amanda and the girls are coming tomorrow as a surprise. Mr L is just unable to keep a secret! Since the illness in 2010, this is even worse as his thinking seems to go in a straight line and alternatives are out of the equation. He couldn’t see any way to keep me home and NOT arranging the Sunday meal than to tell me what was happening. I of course would have managed that easily as I am such a good and convincing liar; but only when it’s needed ;)
