I'll have the Alligator bites and make it snappy!

On the road today, it was seven hours from Nashville to New Orleans, through Tennessee and Alabama back to Louisiana where we started.
Stopping for lunch we are constantly asked "where y'all from?" Or "y'all got an accent?" whereas in the cities, getting on the shuttle buses from the hotel in Nashville to Downtown or in the hotel lifts, Americans seem to want to place everyone by asking "Anyone else from Wisconsin on this bus?" Or "anyone from outta state in here?" They all seem amazed that we travel so far to go on vacation!
We're in a different hotel from last time, we got settled and went for dinner, back to Cajun cuisine, after a week of Tex Mex!
Mr F started with the alligator bites and I didn't have a starter, his main course was catfish and shrimp, and mine was crab stuffed mirlitons which were a type of squash.
