Comings and goings

At the end of a day spent at a harmony singing workshop at the Columcille Centre on Churchill, a game of scrabble with my parents and a sister required a consultation of the Scots Dictionary. Having confirmed that 'feg' was allowed, i was flicking through while i waited my turn and came across this chart of the many schisms and unifications that have marked the reformed Church of Scotland during its lifetime.

I am always amazed by just how complicated - melodramatic - a story the chart tells.
