Foxton Locks

Had friends from London up to visit for the weekend. 

We brunched and then went to Foxton Locks. This boat is on the way up the staircase of 10 locks. We travelled up here ourselves in a narrow boat on a family holiday in 2008. 

An amazing feat of engineering. There was once a boat lift which lifted the narrow boats up the hillside.

Always nice to visit here.
