The Conductor

Oooooh...I had some nice close-ups today. The local ducks were not in a playful mood. A lot of nappers, and a lot of gentle swimmers.

I put a few close-ups on my Flickr page...along with a singing seagull.

I'll bet that I focused on that seagull for 25-30 minutes. I kept waiting for one of the rude mallards to knock her off her perch. Never happened. Like I said...not much action today.

This conductor is conducting the William Tell Overture (think the Lone Ranger.) It is right near the end of the long piece of music. After a pastoral start...the ending really gets intense. I wonder about anybody who can get through the piece of music without some serious fist pumps, and without waving an imaginary conductor's wand.

It affects the mallard, too. Put it in LARGE. Those aren't water drops on his head. Those are duck tears out of his duck ducts. The music moved him.

I'll end with 3 words...although it may be 4. HIIII-YOOOOO SILVER!!! AWAYYYY!!!!!
