I had said I would go on the local group walk today. It was raining heavily before the start time of 10.00am but luckily it stopped and we didn’t get another drop. This is me on one of the paths (it’s not a river), luckily I wore my wellies. It was only a morning walk and brightened up considerably in the afternoon and was very mild. I was able to get my roses and budleias pruned, tick. I watched in the garden this morning a robin chucking out old leaves in the robin box and then immediately started taking new leaves into the box, it was pouring with rain at the time. He or she is obviously a very fussy robin.
