I did a lot of post production on this photo, but if a bit unreal, it does capture our true delight in the light. This view came at the end of a 3-hour food/drink tour of the Alfama neighborbood in Lisbon (oldest area, not destroyed in the 1755 earthquake), which followed a 3-hour tile painting workshop. Paul outdid himself with his planning.

We met delightful guides and fellow tourists, painted tiles, ate and drank all kinds of local specialties, and had a 40-minute winding walk back to our place. Portugal has had a long drought so needs the rain, but we have selfishly loved the sun.
