Books bring peace

I was reminded by that fantastic web site Peebles.live that the Tweeddale Peace Group were holding their annual book sale today and tomorrow.  Of course we ended up with a large (and heavy!) pile to bring home with us.

The two-day event, held in Peebles Burgh Hall, was started by a stalwart of the town, the late Peter Norris in 1986.

(Note I got the dates wrong - today's entry - the 10th - should have been picked up as the 9th - so this one - which is the 10th - is showing as the 9th!)
