Storm chaser

A drive around town had us in the purest of sunshine but looking to where there should have been mountains in the distance.

But there was only black cloud. (Apologies for starting with the word 'but', but does it really matter?)

It seemed that all the traffic was fleeing the weather and we were the only ones going towards it.
