Harvesting the Maize

The contractor arrived at 10.30pm to cut the maize. We didn’t know they were going to do it tonight, so after a bit of rushing around organising gates and showing the men where the pit is to dump the maize, they started chopping. They reckon it will take until 3am to finish chopping our crop. Then it’s a 4 hour drive home for them. They should be home by day break.
