Hello down there

This female chaffinch was talking to a male that had landed on the twig below her. We have a lot of chaffinches not only in the garden but in the fields too. They like to feed along side the redwings and goldfinches and take off altogether flying up into to the trees espescially if the Sparrowhawk is around.
A cold, frosty start with sunshine and blue skies later but with dark fluffy clouds bringing snow to the mountain tops :)
