Wrong priorities
So, I must have taken scores of photos of today's Women's Day march here. Problem was I was using my default mode of aperture priority and almost all of the photos came out blurry.
I was photographing in low light, so the camera was setting a slow shutter speed and this isn't good when photographing a mass of constantly moving people. Having thought about it I think perhaps I should have set it to shutter priority so that I could choose a shutter speed just fast enough to avoid most blur, and let the camera compensate via ISO and aperture. I could then always improve the results a bit with post processing.
Fortunately I took a few landscapes while waiting for the march to go past.
