There's still plenty of snow around

This view was taken through a rather grimy train window as we travelled from Glasgow to Oban. I was hoping the driver might slow just a little as we sped past the magnificent snow covered mountains but no such luck!

During out time in Oban L and I climbed up the steps to McCaig's Tower which dominates the skyline over the town.The completed tower is a grey granite circular screen wall, 190 feet in diameter. There is a marked resemblance with the Colosseum in Rome.
