Pattern

I've been fighting off a cold for the last day or so - no real symptoms, just a few sneezes, a fuzzy head and a lack of focus. To try and perk myself up I went out for a walk in the spring sunshine and ended up doing a bit of plant recording in Etton and Glinton. It was quite pleasant in the sunshine, but in Etton there were still banks of snow along the roadside ditches, right next to flowering lesser celandines and snowdrops. As usual, I gravitated towards the churchyard where I spotted an unusual iron door,  with a rather elegant pattern towards the top.
