Return of the light

For me - today was the first day of Spring, the day I said goodbye to Winter. 

There may be some snow still around, but birds are singing, daffodils are ready to flower, and today the sun shone and the sky was blue. This time last week I couldn't see out of the windows for snow; today it was warm enough to sit in the conservatory and read, with the light shining through. 

This evening we went to see 'The Shape of Water' - fantastic film.
