I read a very interesting article in the Guardian about communication and touch. Basically, it was saying that people were becoming so consumed by technology and the internet that levels of human communication and touch are falling rapidly and that this is a retrograde step in how we deal with each other. It can seem that everyone has become so self-absorbed in their own little world that they can't relate to their fellow human beings as well as they should or could. I thought this image captured some of this behaviour.
