Fancy Flowers
We spent part of this morning showing our British blippers the historic neighbourhood of Beacon Hill, including lovely Louisburg Square with its quaint brick town houses many of which used to be occupied by famous people like Louisa May Alcott and the painter John Singleton Copley. We also visited the famous Make Way For Ducklings sculpture in the Public Garden, and somehow managed to squeeze in some lunch at the Beacon Hill Bistro despite having gorged ourselves on leek and bacon quiche for breakfast! Right now, Kathy and John are exploring the Freedom Trail, and I have returned home to prepare dessert for tomorrow night's dinner party with fellow East Coast blippers justbe and Memories4Me. When we came into our lobby, we were told we had a floral delivery waiting for us -- I had ordered some flowers to brighten up the place for tomorrow's little party, but the concierge and the doorman must have thought I had one heck of a secret admirer, because the flowers are spectacular! The florists really outdid themselves!
