Lucky Horseshoe

After I had left my car at the garage for a service and timing belt change this morning, we went off for a walk in the countryside.    As we walked through a farmyard I noticed this old horseshoe being used as a door latch on some old stables, and thought how apt it was.    We saw (in the distance) some fallow deer, three woodpeckers, five buzzards and numerous small birds.    We then went to a pub for some lunch, very nice it was too.   To kill time until my car was ready to be collected we decided to walk by the river at Woodbridge, by the time we arrived home we had walked 20,497 steps (9.75 miles according to my phone).
