We need a new project

An ordinary day - Ann went to work, I snoozed in my bed. Went down to the beach to play with my new red bouncy ball. Did a bit of running but certainly not as much as usual. I kept going onto all the stinky seaweed when I got the ball 'cos I knew I could have a bit of a rest there before Ann threw the ball again.

Ann went a bit mad at me because she said the seaweed was too slippy today for me to go rock climbing. She said I was too heavy to carry back to the car if I broke one of my legs. As if?! ..................I'm a very agile collie.

Then when I realised we were on the route back to the car I just stood in the middle of the beach and refused to move. Well, I knew we were going to Tesco's and Tesco's is a boring place for a little collie because I have to stay in the car and wait. Ann had to come and get me. I got put on my lead and dragged off the beach. Then I refused to jump into the car. I just stood there looking pathetic. Ann lifted me up, plonked me in the boot and wrapped me in a towel. She said I had to stay like that until we got home, but I shook the towel off as soon as she started driving because I knew she couldn't see what I was doing.

When we got home Ann went very mad at me. She said I was the stinkiest little collie in the whole wide world. She gave me my dinner and said I have to stay in my bed until she gives me permission to get out.

Personally I think she's just in a bad mood because it's all a bit of an anti climax after completing the SWCP walk. I think she might have 'SAD' (seasonal affective disorder)? It was dark when I went on my morning walk and it was dark when we got back from Tescos. And it's been misty and mizzling all day.

Rambling a bit now.......................................

We need a new project. Has anyone got any suggestions??!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

PS - Ann has just given me permission to get out of my bed. She's tickled me behind my ears and said, ''Molly Collie I love you...............................even though you still stink!'
