Early morning mist

A long and varied day, we went to The Island of Murano (See extra) and then made several attempts to go on the the Island of Burano, but a 24 hour strike by the water bus staff meant that we didn’t get there. We managed to get lost trying to meander our back to our quarter through the narrow lanes of Venice, but we got there in the end! We rounded off the day with cocktai in at the piano bar of a neighbouring hotel which has a beautiful staircase. (See extra)
