The relatives

A new delicatessen opened up down the street from my house, in the area of town where my grandfather was born and raised.

They used old-timey photographs to add local color, including this one of my grandfather (bottom right, playing the banjo) and his cousins.

It was very exciting to see this part of my family history on display, although I must admit they look like a Wild West gang!

You won’t believe the fabulous picture Barking took of Bluppet Cousteau and the 3 Amigos, with KANGAROOS!!! I am so excited. One of my bucket list items is to see a real live kangaroo, and my boys have done it. The look on the kangaroos’ faces is priceless. Well done, Barking!
