Intrigue

The weather is horrid out there! Very cold and very high winds. Plans for going out for another stomp in the snow vanished fairly quickly! It was a day to stay indoors with a roaring fire.
I did some assessment in preparation for parents evenings next week but it was a bit tricky at times as Simba was very intrigued by my pen and the ink coming from it!!
Later in the afternoon I ventured out to meet Cathie for a coffee, just so we had moved a bit and didn't go completely nuts!!
Bean Loved were clearing up but fortunately had 2 cakes left. A salted caramel cheese cake and a dark cherry brownie. Perfect!  :)

I was a little intrigued myself as I listened to the radio reports on the weather and how various different services were working hard to keep people (traffic) moving.
Why do we have this urgent push to continually move?
Why can't we recognise the value of stopping for a little while?

Ahhh! I've enjoyed stopping! :)
