International Women’s Day

To all the strong, kick ass women out there. Especially my mum, who is an inspiration to me every day. Her strength in the face of absolute adversity inspired me to be who I am today.
Incidentally, this picture was taken just after I had disturbed a wasp bike. I was literally covered in them, down to the skin. I had to have wasps combed out of my hair, fuelling the phobia of wasps that remains today. So there I am washed, ‘de-wasped’ and covered in calamine lotion from head to toe.
