A Blustery Day

It's been gorgeous today but very windy with an icy chill in the air.

I went into town to meet Chloe for lunch and we decided to go to Jamie Oliver's as I had an offer of 40% off main courses, but it got better than that - firstly Chloe ordered a small glass of wine, but the waitress brought her a large glass and said that the waiter had accidentally poured a large glass but they would only charge for a small.  Then when she brought the bill, the 40% reduction had been applied to the whole bill including drinks!

We walked down to the beach and sat and had a hot chocolate sheltered from the wind, and then when Chloe had to go and get her train I walked down onto the beach to get some photos of the waves.

I have a friend from Belgium arriving tomorrow for the weekend, but sadly the weather isn't looking as good!
