Sea glass

So.. What do you do when you are confined to barracks...binge boxsets...read those books you never have time for..or polish your sea glass and find a new jar!! Years and years of beach walking all in one glass..I love it..it's very addictive.

Had a lie in. Took a sleeping tablet after a bad night before, and had an extra hour or so after Giles left. Lovely shower, so much easier without a drain to manage, washed my hair and walked along the Dee. We are fortunate to be within walking distance of the river and the old railway line. Makes a lovely loop.

Unfortunately I have a bit of a waterboob building up..I was warned it was likely. The drain was still quite busy. The advice is a hot water bottle, so of course mine is gone. Cleared out the cupboard where it usually languishes...tidy cupboard (possibly overdoing it) but no bottle. So back to a glass bottle filled with hot water and with a teatowel wrapped round. A bit Heath Robinson but does the job. Dont really want another clinic visit if I can avoid it!
