A gorgeous day today, blue sky and fluffy white clouds.  Made the most of it and went to Derwent Water with the girls.  Stopped off en-route at Bassenthwaite and retraced my steps from a couple of days ago hoping to find a lost dog lead.  I was convinced I would find it, but alas I didn't.  Its a shame really as I was given it by somebody after their dog died many years ago.  Oh well its a good excuse to buy a new one.
