Top of the world

We took advantage of the fine weather to go over to the Marmolada glacier in the next valley.   

At 3,309m it is the highest peak in the Dolomites and the ski run down from the top is 13km long.   As expected,  it was very busy today but we were able to get back to have lunch with Jane.   We skied a total of 30km today according to the lift company website that tracks our progress.
