Enjoying Nice Weather
This was where we moored last night. We always choose places as far away from towns and other boats as we can. Considering how close we are to the M6 at Gailey, it's amazingly quiet.
This is part of the crew walking along to the next lock which is called Bogg's Lock.
Today was our only full day of the holiday out on the canal. We travelled from this spot for about 3 miles south and then turned in a winding hole and started our journey back to the marina. We carefully planned the time taken for the journey so we could moor tonight opposite a couple of fence posts with a length of rebar lashed onto them!
