The Pentlands

Overnight the melt water froze. The moon is visible. I can see the sky without clouds. Not snowing, so I cycle in to work, the first time in over a week. Its quite pleasant.

The lunchtime walk is also quite nice, despite the blip of the Pentlands looking a menacing. It reminds me of the foothills to the Alps. The clouds and patches of snow. The anticipation of the bigger mountains beyond covered in snow just around the corner.

Pleasant ride home. Its nice to be back on the bike again.
