Elemental

A day of ever-changing skies and scenery and activity - which comprised a mixture of mountain-biking, walking, and writing. There were so many shots taken of perfectly gorgeous, mostly deserted, sun-kissed beaches that it was impossible to choose any one over the others - so I've gone for something a bit different to represent the starker side of the island. It's an other-worldly, elemental place where the geology is raw and still very young. It's possible to imagine the lava bubbling away beneath your feet.
