Early morning light

This was the best part of the day. It snowed on and off and on again. Then it thawed leaving treacherous black ice by evening.
A long day at work was followed by a Deutscher Stammtisch, a bring-a-dish dinner where we speak German, but switch to English after we've finished eating. It was a very enjoyable evening.
