Morning Snow
It was snowing through the night, but when I set off for work, it was raining. The rain continued for the day, finally stopping in the afternoon. A fine dry evening tonight.
I've had another day working in the museum office. More scanning of old photos, and about to start with large glass negatives from the Clement Williamson collection. No lunchtime walk, too much rain. I have managed to get out tonight with Sammy around Scalloway. Off to work in the pub later.
There was quite a bit of snow that fell last night, and it looked great from the window. As I headed out the door and into the rain, the snow was heavy and soaked, more of a sticky slush than snow. I stopped off in my way to work, even the white slush did look good on the ground and over the roofs. Taken from the Scord, looking over East Voe and towards Scalloway castle.
