Gibside Pond

A lovely walk at Gibside today - a National Trust property close to where I live.  There was a springlike feel in the air.  What a difference to a week ago.
Part of the pond was still frozen over.  Tea and scones were purchased in the cafe after our walk.  A grand day out.
