Ducks
These three ducks seem to hang out by themselves most of the time, away from the larger group of mallard that live on the river. Maybe that's because they appear to be crossed with some other breed, possibly a domesticated duck of some sort, although I've no idea whether that might actually affect the interaction between them and other ducks.
The mostly white duck looks a little like a call duck, while the two drakes look obviously mallard for the most part. Anyway, they seem very contented together, with none of the usual squabbling that seems to go on at this time of year. Quite what their domestic arrangements are is not evident; perhaps that will become apparent later on.
