Guess

      
       I had intended the extra to be today's blip: by the hair of my chinny-chin-chin. But later, at home, I glanced west and by the time I got a suitable lens on the camera the effect phenomenon was fading fast. Cloudless sky but for the wisp of cloud (actually ice crystals for this effect; or is that a ring round the moon? ) at just the correct altitude and relative distance from the setting sun . . .
